Zyafti Mansion
Mr. Ziafati’s residential house is designed for the family’s parents and children to live in on three floors and four units. Two floors of the building are also dedicated to a roof garden and basement at the request of the employer.
On this 300-meter trapezoidal plot, the biggest challenge was solving the problem of providing adequate lighting for both second-floor units, considering the width of the plot while maintaining the spatial geometry. For this reason, after making numerous sketches, the design team decided to place the staircase in the central core of the building so that the two units would be located next to each other in a north-south direction.
